Deluxe slings are probably the easiest fully supportive slings to apply. They form a comfortable "chair shaped" seat for the user. The lower section of the sling is padded. The leg supports can be used in three different ways: legs apart, parallel or ina 'hammock' (useful for amputees). Manufactured in polyester mesh fabric
The same features as the mesh sling, but manufactured from a lightweight vapour permeable 'rip-stop' fabric. There are no webbing handles on these slings (unless requested) to reduce the risk of pressure problems if they are left in place |

Deep Back Support Sling
This is our most supportive sling. The unique construction of the sling causes the sides to "wrap" around the person being hoisted, providing secure lateral support. The Deep Back Support sling often works well for people that have supportive seating systems. Manufactured in polyester mesh fabric & a lightweight vapour permeable 'rip-stop' fabric.

High Back Toileting Sling
The High Back Toileting Sling has an integral head and back support panel which helps some users maintain a safe position while transfer is under way. Manufactured in polyester mesh fabric. |
Pool Slings The Seat Sling
The Seat Sling is rigid P.V.C. hinged for transferring from lying to sitting.
The Float Sling
The Float Sling from Moving Solutions frees up a member of staff when hoisting into water. The sling maintains it's shape on the surface which allows the user to be floated on and off.
Pool Evacuation
The Ann-Yann Pool Evacuation Sheet is used in the event that a swimmer becomes incapacitated e.g. by epileptic seizure. Used in conjunction with a glide sheet and exercise mat, and using the approved technique, a safe transfer can be achieved. Use the Ann-Yann Pool Evacuation Sheet with service users or staff in the case of an emergency. |
The Hammock Sling is very supportive and may suit highly dependent users or those with a high amputation. It is designed to offer head support as well as being supportive as a seat.
The Toileting Sling is easy to apply. It is designed to allow access for the adjustment of clothing. The top edge of the sling is padded for comfort. Struts sewn into the sling add to the support given to the lower back.
